My Affiliate Summit East Schedule

Posted on 04. Aug, 2009 by Logan in Conferences

In just a few days I’ll be flying to New York to attend Affiliate Summit East 2009, which will actually be my first Affiliate Summit. My schedule is getting pretty full and it should be a good time. I have a press pass so I will be in the bloggers lounge at times writing up new posts for those of you who couldn’t make it.

For those of you going, I’d love to meet you and connect while we are there. I figure I would share my tentative schedule and if your attending any of these events, let me know.

Saturday

I’m arriving around 3pm on Saturday and going to make my way via subway to the Hilton. I’ve never been on a subway before so it should be an experience. If you are arriving at JFK around that time and would like to make the venture with me, let me know. I’d love a riding partner.

After I arrive, I’m going out to dinner with James Seligman (yeah, we both live in Washington state and it takes us both flying to New York to finally meet) and anyone else who wants to go. We aren’t sure yet where we are eating, but are estimating to leave around 6-6:30. Let either one of us know if you want to meet up. Nothing else is planned after that.

Sunday

In the morning I’m heading over to the Cotton Club for the CAMA Gospel Brunch. There is going to be a lot of good food and music, as well as some great people in the industry attending. I then plan on rushing back to attend the Getting Noticed Fast session which has an awesome line up on the panel of Lisa Picarille (my ASE09 mentor), Michael Buechele, Trisha Lyn Fawver, Jen Goode, and Stephanie Lichtenstein. After that I will probably wander around the Meet Market and hit a few appointments I have setup with some affiliate managers.

In the evening I’m going to the Market Leverage yacht party for dinner, which I’m really excited about. After that I might hit up the Affiliate Summit Tweetup, or just see what else is happening before I head to bed.

Monday

Monday I don’t have any plans for breakfast or lunch so if your available and want to meet up then, let me know. I plan on going to the keynote speech in the morning from Chris Brogan and then attending the landing page session with Tim Ash as well as the Advertising on Facebook session with Zac Johnson, Dennis Yu, Alex Schultz and Shoemoney.

For dinner I’m going to go to a private dinner with ClickBooth put on by Eric Schecter. That should be a lot of fun. I don’t really have any plans after that.

Tuesday

Tuesday I don’t have any breakfast or lunch plans either. I plan on attending the keynote with Peter Shankman and will probably hang out in the exhibit hall for a while. My flight leaves at 7pm Tuesday night so that will end my stay in New York.

Overall it should be a great trip and I’m really looking forward to it. Make sure to check back on my blog as I will try and update it throughout the summit as I can.

See everyone else there!

The subway is the easiest thing in the world. A train right to Columbus Circle, then walk four blocks to the Hilton. See you on Saturday! :)

It was really nice meeting you Logan. You’re a cool kat. Too bad you’re leaving so early from NY. It was a lot of fun at Times Square Saturday night.

    Keep on drummin’
