So last I finally moved out of my home office and into an office. The place I moved in is called the Verto house, and it isn’t just your typical office space. It is an old house located downtown Vancouver, WA (a suburb of Portland, OR) that has been converted into a community of small businesses. There are about 6 -7 other 1-2 person businesses here and it is more of a community where everyone is willing to help each other out in their business. It’s a very unique concept and is actually a really cool place to work. I’m loving it so far.
One of the cool things about it is all the businesses get together to get involved in the community at least once a month. For example upcoming events include a pancake breakfast for the local homeless community, and a sex trafficking awareness night. If you know me, you know that I really love getting involved helping people, so this is right up my alley.
My camera still is messed up, so I don’t have images of the inside, just this photo of the outside of the building.
Anyways, I’m loving the new office and if you are ever in the Portland area and want to meet up for lunch, I’d love to meet you.
