I always love to find out new traffic sources, especially when it comes to international traffic. Not only for affiliate marketing offers that I promote, but for some of the direct advertisers I work with. Recently I came across Adjump, which specializes in lead generation in international markets.
Affiliate Networks
With so many affiliate networks trying to get you to use their network, it can be difficult to know which ones are quality and which ones are crap. While talking to different affiliates I’ve realized that everyone has different opinions on networks. My philosophy is to try them out and form an opinion for yourself. Recently I decided to sign up for Clickbooth, which is definitely one of the largest CPA networks around, to see what I thought. Click to read more…
It’s official, I’ve joined too many affiliate networks. If you’re like me, you get bombarded with offers from all kinds of affiliate networks wanting you to join and try out their network. Once you do join, they are added to the list of companies contacting you weekly begging for you to run offers and it can get overwhelming. Every once in a while though, you find a diamond in the rough.
Back in January I was over at Paul Piotrowski’s blog were he had teamed up with Amped Media to run a contest by joining up with them. Out of curiosity since I hadn’t heard of them, I figured I would join to see what offers they had. A few days later I was approved and wasn’t all that impressed once I logged in. The offers they had that I was familiar with had lower payouts than at other networks. So, I decided to put them on the back burner for the time being and didn’t think to much about them.
A few months later, my affiliate manager sent me a t-shirt, pen and notepad with their logo on it. To be honest I had almost forgot about them (good marketing on their part). The shirt was way to large so I gave it to a friend of mine and thought it was a nice gesture of them. My AM, Janell contacted me to make sure the shirt fit and when she found out it was to big, sent me another one in my size. That was pretty cool that she went out of their way even though I hadn’t sent them any sales.
Anyways, I still didn’t run any campaigns with them right away. A few weeks later Janell contact me and was awesome to work with. I decided to try out a few campaigns with them and have had some pretty good success. What was awesome was after just a few days, she bumped me to weekly payments as well as increased my payout even more without me even asking for it. Pretty cool!
Aside from a great affiliate manager, Amped Media seems like a pretty good network. They are a lot smaller than a lot of networks, but I don’t think that is a bad thing. They are very easy to contact and definitely work hard at pleasing their affiliates. One thing they are great at is adding offers you’d like that they don’t currently have and will generally beat other networks on CPA.
As far as tracking goes, they use DirectTrack, which some affiliates don’t like so much. To me it isn’t not to bad of a system, except for the few times I’ve seen DirectTrack go down. They also don’t have a whole lot of exclusive offers that are being run entirely on their network. Other than that they are a solid network and I’d highly recommend that you check them out if you haven’t. You won’t be disappointed.
